Three piece ensemble
A. Navy blue, red, and white wool/rayon knit cardigan sweater; diamond and stripe pattern; gold lion head buttons. B. Navy blue wool/rayon knit skirt; elastic waistband; knit-in godets.
The third piece of this ensemble is a pair of pants (Object ID #1988.143.c) that can be worn with the sweater; the three pieces are not intended to be worn simultaneously.

Evening gown
Dark red four ply silk crepe evening gown; columnar silhouette; bateau neckline; thin straps; knot bow at back; bias cut in back; two bound buttonholes worked on the grain; floor length. Bill Blass for Maurice Rentner.
The lower part of the gown has water stains on it. -

Red and fuschia silk brocade silk brocade dress; metallic floral and leaves, bodice covered in rows of pleated fuchsia organza with frayed ends, pleats held down with rows of red beads, V-neckline in front, sleeveless, skirt fitted through hips and wide at knee, center back zipper, two red godets in skirt in back, lined in light beige chiffon. This item is from Gianni Calignano Spring/Summer 2008. -

White silk twill blouse; red cherry print; jewel neckline. Worn with jacket (Object ID #1997.154.A) and skirt (Object ID #1997.154.B) to form three piece suit. -
Dinner dress
A. Long red and blue crepe dinner dress; Chinese-inspired print of geometric maze shape with organic vines and leafs; jewel neckline; short puff sleeves with pleated sleeve caps; bodice and sleeves are red printed with white; bust darts; waist pleats; long A-line skirt is blue-purple printed in lavender; side hook and eye closure. B. Self-fabric tie belt; one side is red print and other side is blue-purple print. -
Two piece ensemble
A. Red suede shirt; 3/4 length sleeves with elasticized hems; snap front closure; standing collar; unlined. B. Brown and white check sheer wool "Panung" style skirt; straight waistband; gathered straight silhouette; side pockets in seams; ankle length. -
Coat
Red, black, brown, and white plaid wool tweed "Noh" coat; kimono style; no collar; black leather trim throughout; two side pockets; only side seams; slits up sides to waist; unlined. -
Coat
Red mohair coat; very full silhouette; 3/4 length sleeves; round collar; leather trim on collar and down center front. Buttons and lining have been replaced at some point.
