  • Black wool flannel dress; black ground with narrow white stripes; wide notched collar; self bias binding around collar and down side of front; double breasted; four black buttons and bound buttonholes continuing around waistline; set-in 3/4 length sleeves with turned-up cuffs; slim skirt with tucks and vertical bound pockets; 7 1/2 inch long center seam slit for ease in walking; center back seam. Missing a button. Presented in the fall of 1950.

  • Gray wool flannel dress; jewel neckline; sleeveless; seam going down center front, forms into box pleat; 2 princess seams that come down into waist and form box pleats, one princess seam starts at shoulder and other starts at middle of front armhole; 3 horizontal seams; one goes through center front seam and is located right under bust, extending from center seam to first princess seams on each side; other horizontal seams are side seams that extend .5 inch from armpits and go to first princess seam closest to side of garment; center back zipper closure that forms into box pleat; 2 back princess seams on either side of zipper, these also form box pleats; knee length. The donor, Sharon Lipinski, constructed this dress in Sister Aloyse Hessburg's Couture class.

Ivory batiste tailored blouse; double Pan collar with bias binding; balloon sleeves, very full with 5 pearl button/hand-worked buttonhole closures at cuffs. C. Gray wool flannel tie belt; 1.5 inches wide. This item was created by Norman Norell for Traina-Norell fashion house.
  • Light and dark gray heathered wool flannel dress; small shawl collar with 3 covered buttons; long kimono sleeves; side zipper closure; horizontal seam just under bust, above light gray and below dark gray; 4 gore skirt; mid-calf length.
  • Red orange wool flannel shorts; white top-stitching; wide, deep central front inverted pleat, two additional frontal pleats and two back pleats; slant pockets lined with orange nylon; open slit on right side of shorts; basting threads around lower cuffs.
