• Beach hat

  Black straw cartwheel hat; fine straw crown; cartwheel brim of black and red stylized floral silk georgette with boning at outer edge; designed to fold into figure eight for travel and resort wear. The brim is twenty-five inches in diameter. Donor was Frank Olive's sister.

  Black silk velvet evening bolero; V-shaped plunging neckline, one hook and eye closure at center front. Shaped hemline rises higher at center front, dipping at center back. Long Dolman sleeves with unusual pattern forming a gusset-like underarm seam. Unlined. Completely hand-finished with overcast seam. Worn by Valentina.
