Black wool flannel dress; black ground with narrow white stripes; wide notched collar; self bias binding around collar and down side of front; double breasted; four black buttons and bound buttonholes continuing around waistline; set-in 3/4 length sleeves with turned-up cuffs; slim skirt with tucks and vertical bound pockets; 7 1/2 inch long center seam slit for ease in walking; center back seam. Missing a button. Presented in the fall of 1950.
