Boxy jacket; johnny collar; long straight sleeves; three button center front closure with triangular extensions at each button; bias banding; Princess seaming; horizontal and vertical darting; china silk lining. B. Straight skirt; two inverted hip pleats; knee length. C. White silk twill blouse; red cherry print; jewel neckline.

Dark yellow jacquard brocade skirt; fabric is diamond design; inverted pleats into straight waistband of skirt; center back closure has bustle effect; mid-calf length; lined with silk organza.

Green, bronze, and black plaid silk satin evening gown; tight-fitting bodice of green and black plaid; off-the-shoulder sleeves attached to bodice with fabric strips, stitched at upper arm, then released into fullness and stitched again at sleeve hems; voluminous skirt; pleated 1.5 inches from waistline, released into deep pleat effect; back zipper closure. Label: "Bruyere Paris Place Vendome". B. Black patent leather belt; four inches wide. Performance gown worn by Hildegarde.
  • Black silk crepe evening gown; strapless; six white narrow vertical strips applied evenly along gown with white bows at top; strips run down dress below knee, flaring out with six godets; black sequin beading runs completely around white strips; corselet bodice understructure, back hook closures; center back zipper with hook and eye closures. Worn by Hildegarde for the first time in Milwaukee in 1948.
  • Navy blue linen dress; sleeveless; asymmetric closure of eleven 1/2 inch covered buttons/bound buttonholes; round neckline with rust colored binding; rust binding on full length of left side of garment; softly gathered skirt.

  • A letter from Barbara Borgwardt, part-time instructor in the Fashion Design Program at Mount Mary College (Milwaukee, Wisconsin), to Sister Luetta Wolf, expressing support for "keeping this [Fashion Design] program separate from the others." This was in response to the "Letter from Sister Ellen Lorenz and Sister Luetta Wolf to faculty, December 8, 1983" (linked below).
  • Peach silk brocade evening dress; brocade has florals in gray and metallic gold florals in discontinuous weft threads; low square neckline; bodice gathered into waistline; left side snap closures; short flared skirt; sewn-in slip of peach silk.
