Description
A. Gray wool tweed tunic; fabric is woven with thin black warp and thicker brown weft with small, randomized flecks of red, green, blue, and yellow; contrast fabric is colorful large-scale plaid woven cotton; rounded bertha style collar in contrast fabric with six lines of smocking; long raglan sleeves; flared cuffs with three black spherical button closures; this same button closure is on the back collar as well as a center back zipper closure; 24.5 inch slit down side seams; colorful plaid contrast fabric runs along hem, side seams, armscyes and cuffs in .5 inch wide strips; mid-calf length; label: "KOOS Koos Van Den Akker, New York". B. Multicolored large-scale plaid cotton skirt; dirndl style; three contrasting trims; first, a white, gray, and magenta dot print forming diamonds that runs horizontally around the hip, knee, and 1.5 inches above the hem; second, a faded pastel floral print running horizontally below the knee; third, purple, blue, turquoise, and gray woven twill running along hem; elastic at waistline; welt pockets along side seams; mid-calf length.
Note how the slits in the tunic perfectly line up with the pockets on the skirt underneath.
