Blouse; bateau neckline; puffed sleeves with interior heading; uneven hemline, pulled up and pleated at left side hip revealing left leg; lined with China silk. B. Skirt; inverted pleats at center front knee level to floor; full evening length; elastic waist; unlined.
  • Navy blue and white plaid wool suit. A. Jacket; boxy; mandarin collar; 3 large navy blue buttons down front; two single welt pockets set on angle; long straight set-in sleeves; bands with one button on bottom of sleeves; back gathers into shoulder yoke; unlined. B. Skirt; straight silhouette; raised waistline; side seam zipper closure; knee length. With the slacks (Object ID #1999.276.c) these pieces form a three piece ensemble, though not all three pieces would be worn simultaneously.
  • Black and white pinstriped cotton suit. A. Blazer jacket; notched collar with reversed fabric on lower lapel; 2 button center front closure; straight sleeves; 2 double welt pockets with reverse fabric at hipline. B. Straight skirt; high-rise waistline; knee length. C. Vest; reverse fabric from rest of suit; 3 button center front closure.
  • A. Navy blue, red, and white wool/rayon knit cardigan sweater; diamond and stripe pattern; gold lion head buttons. B. Navy blue wool/rayon knit skirt; elastic waistband; knit-in godets.

    The third piece of this ensemble is a pair of pants (Object ID #1988.143.c) that can be worn with the sweater; the three pieces are not intended to be worn simultaneously.
