• Detail of appliqué

  White polyester crepe evening gown; jewel neckline; short kimono cap sleeves; draped in front to center of midriff; scalloped oval appliqué in center of midriff; center of appliqué decorated with clear and silver bugle beads and large rhinestone pin; waistline rises in front, falls in back; darting at back bodice; hand-picked zipper; straight skirt; slit at back hem; ankle length; lined in white polyester. Zipper teeth have given out.

Yellow paisley pattern silk chiffon evening dress; fit and flare; jewel neckline; natural waistline; sheer overbodice with camisole style underbodice of yellow silk crepe; center back zipper closure; row of tiny covered buttons as faux closure; long straight sleeves with tiny buttons at cuffs; inverted pleats on skirt; ballerina length; lined. Worn with belt (Object ID #1997.158.b).

  Ivory silk twill fit and flare dress; natural waistline; large ruffled collar continues down to waistline; long straight sleeves with cuffs; double belt criss-crosses at center front and secures in back with covered snaps; gathered skirt; mid-calf length; underlined with silk organiza.

  Beige with brown spatter print silk ensemble. A. Fit and flare dress; normal waist, halter neckline, center back nylon zipper. Halter has a front slit with a reverse, skirt is gathered. Unlined, knee length. E. Belt latches in back with hook and eyes and snap closure. Small, flat bow. Used for Valentina's famous "Quick change" routine.
  
  Goes with coat (Object ID #1995.382.B), jacket (Object ID #1995.382.C), and wrap (Object ID #1995.382.D) to form five piece ensemble.

Suit pants; double pleats; high-rise shaped waistband with belt loops; front fly closure.
