  Black chenille long evening coat; solid black sequins and cross bars of black chenille; architecturally structured with straight front and long straight strips of chenille between sequins; wide back and sides of angled strips of chenille; strips of cellophane embedded beneath sequins to create glimmer effect. Custom made for Hildegarde.

  Cranberry red heavy fulled wool flannel swing evening coat; all-over rhinestones applied with rivets; standing collar; set-in sleeves widen at elbow; inseam pockets on modified princess line; cranberry red silk lining; most rhinestone have lost their red paint. Worn by Hildegarde.

  Celadon green double silk ribbed twill evening coat; inset "V" at back neck; Ruana shape: square open in front, sides sewn together to knees, open to ankles; longer in back than front. Worn by Hildegarde as a performance coat.

  White silk shantung coat; jewel collar; three large white plastic buttons on center front closure; three-quarter length set-in sleeves; flat pockets on horizontal seam at hips; two inverted box pleats on front; back is plain; lined in white crepe. Worn with dress (Object ID #2004.03.48.B) and belt (Object ID #2004.03.48.C) to form three piece ensemble.

  Ivory striped wool plain weave short coat; stripes are brown and dark yellow; jewel neck; center front opening with 3 large bone buttons and bound buttonholes; three-quarter length set-in padded sleeves; side seams open from waist; attached self-fabric belt that ties in back; lined in ivory silk crepe. Worn with dress (Object ID #2004.03.395.A) to form ensemble.
