  • Fashion illustration of two women in black and white illustration. First wears a strapless jumpsuit with a ruched bust that then is flowy and ruches again at the ankles. The second wears an off the shoulder dress that has excess fabric at the neckline, the waist, and at the edge of the long skirt. Back reads, “p 18 designs by Pam Paulus Joan Strabel.” No date, artist listed as Strabel. Pen and tape on board. Measurements: 11 x 14 inches.  

    This artwork was featured in the 1978 Fashion Show Program, "Sculptured Softly". Pamela Paulus (Class of 1978) and Joan Strabel were Fashion students at Mount Mary in the late 1970s. It is unknown whether Joan Strabel graduated from the program.
  • Fashion illustration of two women in black and white. The first is in a fitted long dress with a slit and has a flowy open top over it. The second wears a darker full length one-shouldered dress. The “fabric” of the outfits may be glued, printed material. The back reads, “p 22 Designs by Mary Freund Joan Strabel.” No date, artist listed as Joan Strabel. Measurements: 11 x 14 inches. 

    This artwork was featured in the 1978 Fashion Show Program, "Sculptured Softly". Joan Strabel and Mary Freund were Fashion Design students in the late 1970s, but it is unknown whether they graduated from the program.
  • Fashion illustration of three women in jumpsuits. Black and white marker and oil on construction paper. The first woman wears overalls over a long sleeved striped shirt. The second wears a sleeveless jumpsuit with a collar and a deep v neckline. The third wears a long sleeved sailor jumpsuit with a striped undershirt and a braided belt. All in black and white illustration. On the back reads, “L to R Nanette Thom, Barb Heinen, Joan Strabel. Pg 1.” There is no date and the artist name is Toth. Measurements: 11 x 17 inches. 

    This artwork was featured in the 1977 Fashion Show Program, "Projections". Tracey Toth (Class of 1977), Barbara Heinen (Class of 1978), and Joan Strabel were Fashion Design majors. Nanette Thom was an Art major, Class of 1978.
