A. Brown wool tweed wrap-around full skirt; pleated, hem decorated with printed satin band 5 inches wide with brown satin ribbon above and black grosgrain ribbon below, above knee length. B. Brown wool tweed jacket; wide portrait collar covered with brown embroidery throughout, knotted fringe on edge of collar, long set-in sleeves with embroidery at wrist, fitted through waist, hip length, one button closure, lined in orange taffeta. Part of ensemble with blouse (Object ID #2013.04.17.C).

Anna Sui jacket
Brown window-pane plaid wool jacket; cardigan style, jewel neckline, fringe yarn and bead embellishment around neckline, center front zipper, four patch pockets with zipper closures. Fringe yarn and bead embellishments at center back, long set-in sleeves, sleeve hems, and pockets. Hip length, lined in brown taffeta.
Worn with dress (Object ID #2013.04.13.A).

Brown window-pane plaid wool sheath dress; embellishments of turquoise and dark green wool yarn, turquoise and white print fabric, shells, and triangular turquoise and yellow plastic sequins. Embellishment at center front from neck to hem. Sleeveless, scoop neckline in front, zipper closure in back, above knee length, straight silhouette, lined in brown taffeta.

B. Underdress for evening gown; straight silhouette, slip style, sleeveless, blue ostrich boa sewn in zig-zag around the hem, zipper closure at center back, floor length, lined in blue crepe. Coral and lavender chiffon skirt; vertical flounces of alternating colors, slit to the upper thigh at center left, upper skirt is lined, straight waistband, ankle length.
