Wedding program regarding the wedding of Charles Spittal Robb to Lynda Bird Johnson at the White House, 12/09/1967.
Off-white fabric infused paper with wood grain texture cover. Silver print of White House with trees and date on front. 13 pages of text, bound with an 1/8" salmon cord with tassel. [4 7/8" x 6 3/4"]

Evening gown
White polyester crepe evening gown; jewel neckline; short kimono cap sleeves; draped in front to center of midriff; scalloped oval appliqué in center of midriff; center of appliqué decorated with clear and silver bugle beads and large rhinestone pin; waistline rises in front, falls in back; darting at back bodice; hand-picked zipper; straight skirt; slit at back hem; ankle length; lined in white polyester. Zipper teeth have given out.
Made by Sister Aloyse Hessburg for her Master's project at Drexel University in 1965. -

Mrs. Frances Howard Robb (wife of James Robb, mother of Charles Robb) is eighth from right, next to the groom, wearing a yellow dress designed and created by Sister Aloyse Hessburg of Mount Mary.
An inscription below the photo reads: "With my thanks to Sister John Francis and Sister Aloyse and Sister Rose Marita for their help in making this a most beautiful and historic wedding. With my love - Frances Robb" -

On the left is Sister Ellen Lorenz (president of Mount Mary College) and on the right is Laurence Eiseman Jr. (her son and vice president of Florence Eiseman Inc.) and Sister Aloyse Hessburg. -

This photograph appeared on page 44 of Arches 1968 (Mount Mary College's yearbook) with the following caption: "Cindy Gefke, Pat Day, Ellen Van Horn, and Sister M. Aloyse [Sister Aloyse Hessburg] listen attentively as Mr. Ronald Amey, New York designer, gives a critique on a budding designer’s sketch."
The exact date of the photograph is unknown, but Amey first visited Mount Mary College in 1965 and returned for student counseling sessions in 1966 (among possible other trips). -

Four School Sisters of Notre Dame from Mount Mary College in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, attend a runway show for fashion designers Burke-Amey in New York City. One of Sister Aloyse Hessburg's designs appeared on the runway.

Itinerary for 1975 tour of fashion manufacturing plants
Itinerary for a five-day trip in August 1975 to visit fashion manufacturing plants in the Midwest. Stops included the Stanbury Band Uniform plant (Brookfield, Missouri), the Allen-A plant (Piqua, Ohio), the Sand Knit plant (either Waupun or Berlin, Wisconsin, or possibly locations in both towns), and the "sox factory" (possibly Portage Hosiery Company) in Portage, Wisconsin. Members of the Mount Mary College (Milwaukee, Wisconsin) fashion design program undertook this trip. -

Fashion design faculty (1973?)
A list of Mount Mary College (Milwaukee, Wisconsin) fashion design program faculty with their credits, contact hours, and equivalency credit hours, and a list of pre-registration student numbers by course in the fashion design program. The full names of the faculty are almost certainly: Barbara Borgwardt, Elaine Zarse, Carol Stowell, Sister Aloyse Hessburg (Fashion Program Coordinator).
This item is undated but is likely from 1973-74. (According to the fashion show program from spring 1974, there were five faculty members that year, including the four names listed on this item, and the name "Stowell" doesn't appear in the fashion show programs under "Faculty" in any other program 1972-1982.)
