The second wears a full length dress with a deep v neckline to the thickly belted waist and the fabric is lighter. All in black and white. Red silk lamé evening gown with gold and silver flecks; straight silhouette; square neckline; elbow-length sleeves; shoulder pads; left side zipper; ankle length; dress has stripe effect through the manipulation of the fabric, stripes appear vertical on bodice and horizontal on skirt. -
Two piece suit
Red wool herringbone suit. A. Jacket; fitted; unusual collar; button and flap hip detail. B. Skirt; six-gore skirt with button trim. -
Dinner dress
Yellow and white floral silk chiffon dinner dress; "U" neckline in front, plunges deeper in back; hanging sleeves in back that become bell sleeves at shoulder; attached straight beige slip underneath, attached at waist; sleeveless slip with lingerie straps; concealed back zipper, hook and eyes, and snap closures; flared skirt; knee length. -
Evening gown
Gold lamé gown; wide round neckline, bound in wide bias-cut banding; sleeveless; bust darts; raised waistline; attached self-fabric belt dips down in back; long center concealed zipper; paneled bias-cut long skirt; underlined bodice; attached slip with lingerie straps in soft beige crepe. Worn with matching shawl (Object ID #2004.03.28.B). -

Gold lamé gown; wide round neckline, bound in wide bias-cut banding; sleeveless; bust darts; raised waistline; attached self-fabric belt dips down in back; long center concealed zipper; paneled bias-cut long skirt; underlined bodice; attached slip with lingerie straps in soft beige crepe. B. Long gold lamé shawl; long hand-knotted beige silk fringe bound in gold metallic thread. -

Coral pink silk chiffon over silk crepe evening gown; strapless; chiffon at bodice pleated diagonally; high waist at front, curving below waist at back; slight train; floating floor length scarf panel attached vertically along center back. Exclusively for Bullocks Wilshire. -

Beige silk chiffon evening gown; large keyhole opening at front; hand-rolled edges; one covered button closure at neck; opening reveals lace bodice; long slender souffle sleeves, edged in lace; hook and eye at wrist; intricate drapery twisted in center front, continuing in short cascade over left side; crepe floor length skirt. -

Blue and white tiny checked wool suit. A. Jacket; long; fitted silhouette; cut-out and bias-banded shawl collar; matching flaps in yoke area; set-in long sleeves, narrow turned-back cuffs; shaped panels; seven small self-covered buttons and bound buttonholes; matched cut-out shaping with banding on lower edge; straight across back hem length. B. Straight skirt; bias-bound slashed side pockets; stitched-down tucks and darts; left side zipper.
