Dress without coat and belt
A. Multicolored day dress; wool knit solid black bodice; wool twill skirt with multicolored large scale nature print; image of large flowers in pink, coral, and orange with black centers, light and dark green leaves, yellow and light purple butterflies, and black and white birds with orange wings, all on a dark purple ground; skirt has 1.25 inch wide black cord piping trim down the side seams and around hem; bodice has long sleeves, bust darts, and 1.75 inch wide turtleneck; sleeves have 4 inch long vertical zipper closures on inner cuffs; center back has 22 inch zipper closure, which begins below turtleneck.
Worn with coat (Object ID #2025.02.08.b) and belt (Object ID #2025.02.08.c) to form three piece ensemble.

Three piece ensemble
A. Wool twill coat in matching fabric; long sleeves with 1.25 inch wide black cord piping trim at cuffs; matching trim goes around hem, shoulder seams, collar seam, and down center front opening; 1.75 inch wide mandarin collar; 6 black cloth covered button closure that are hidden when coat is closed; center back and armhole princess seams; label reads: "Donald Brooks". C. Wool twill and leather belt; 2 inches wide; wool twill is matching fabric to dress and coat; tan leather back; exaggerated square buckle covered in self-fabric; 3 holes.

Navy blue silk twill cap; corded strips of fabric sewn from ear to ear; corded strips sewn in half circles over each ear; lined in chartreuse and white floral print silk.

Burgundy cotton twill and suede pumps; cotton twill upper and suede toe; asymmetrical; decorated with black patent leather strap and strips of white and burgundy fabric ribbon; 2.5 inch black patent Spanish heel.

Black and white twill cape; high funnel neck; black shoulder yoke forms squared-off "V" to bust; eight covered ball button and loop closure; circular shape to knees; area in back has white ground with black squares, remainder of garment is black with line across front; unlined except at shoulders. Probably worn with dress (Object ID #2004.03.664).

A. Black wool twill worsted nun's habit; jewel neckline; shoulder yoke; large sleeves with turned-back cuffs; 2 black safety pin closure; 8 tucks into shoulder yoke; unfitted waist; ankle length. B. Black herringbone weave, possibly nylon, cinture belt; hook and eye closures in front under flap. C. Black cotton slip; scoop neckline; sleeveless; princess seams; right inseam pocket; knee length. D. White plain weave cotton forehead cover; rectangle; two pairs of ties on short ends. E. White starched cotton wimple; two connected rectangles; two ties; tied at top of head and pinned in back, making two horizontal pleats at neck across shoulders; should have vertical fold lines in front when worn. F. Black worsted wool veil; white starched linen underveil glued to front underside; connects with snaps at back underside; veil pinned at center front forehead to forehead cover. G. Nine straight pins with black or white heads; used to pin veil to forehead cover. H. White polyester knitted skullcap; worn under veil.

Plaid ensemble. A. Green and purple cotton plaid twill shirt; occasional yellow and white stripe, asymmetrical, wing collar, long kimono sleeves with gussets, center front opening with four yellow plastic buttons, right side front has modified princess seam into the side seam to form a pocket, right side is longer, left side front has a seam under the bust, Shoulder piece has gathering under the bust, right back of bodice continues the modified princess seam up to the left back neckline, left side back has a contour dart, unlined. B. Green, purple, burgundy, and yellow laid wool pants; made in Italy, straight waistband with a button and zipper at the side, tapered, ankle length. Vivienne Westwood Red Label.
