  • A letter from Aileen Ryan, women's editor at the Milwaukee Journal, to Sister John Francis Schuh, president of Mount Mary College, thanking her for the invitation to the presentation ceremony of Mrs. Knowles' inaugural gown and providing information about gowns Ryan would be adding to Mount Mary's collection.
  • This speech was given by Aileen Ryan when accepting the 1965 Pro Urbe Civic Award from Mount Mary College (Milwaukee, Wisconsin).

    Worn by Peg Bradley. This dress is from Yves Saint Laurent's Pop Collection of 1965-66 and is featured in the Metropolitan Museum of Art's catalog of the exhibition of his work. It is identified as his "Poliakoff" dress, inspired by the paintings of Serge Poliakoff.

  • Fashion illustration of five women in various dresses. One is a deep plunge with a cinched waist and pointed heels. One is a strapless dress that is fit close to the body but with flowy fabric, this has a matching scarf and pointed heels. The middle has hat may be some sort of wedding dress as the woman is wearing a veil and may be using a muff or some sort of flower bouquet—this dress is logn sleeved and cinched at the waist with a high-low hemline. The fourth is a fitted long strapless dress with accompanying shawl. The fifth is a sleeveless high neck fitted dress with a high-low fit and flare hemline and matching gloves to the dress top. This is labeled as Illustration #10, Assemblance of the Constellations, but no date. The designers are listed left to right—Charisse Sarvela; Terri del Balso; Jill De Rocher; Iva Braovac; Katy Schwengel. Black and white pen on paper. Measurements: 17 x 14 inches.

    This artwork was featured in the 1990 Fashion Show Program, "Zeitgeist, spirit of the times..."". Charisse Sarvela (Class of 1990), Terri Del Balso, Jill De Rocher (Class of 1990), Iva Braovac, and Katy Schwengel were Mount Mary Fashion Design students in the early 1990s.

    This artwork was featured in the 1978 Fashion Show Program, "Sculptured Softly". The caption was "Gown by Cristobal Balenciaga, Spanish Fashion Designer, 1958". Artist Cheryl Schamburek was a Fashion Design major, Class of 1980.
