Several mannequins in a Gimbels store window wear clothes designed by students at Mount Mary College. This window was at the corner of Wisconsin Avenue and Plankinton Avenue, with other garments displayed in other locations, including Gimbels Fifth Avenue Shop, 2nd Floor. -

Viscose/polyester fabric at bodice sides and skirt left is light blue with small uneven wrinkles, scoop neckline, shoulder yoke, sleeveless, six center front buttons to a dropped waistline, short flared skirt, lined in light blue china silk. -

This image is part of a collection of snapshots likely taken by Virginia Moore or her friends with a personal camera during Virginia's time as a student at Mount Mary College in Milwaukee, Wisconsin (1953-1957). The snapshots were printed on Kodak Velox paper. The captions are primarily based upon information found on the back of the original photos, most likely written by Virginia. Some images had no information at all and individuals or events are identified based on other captions and information available in the Mount Mary archives. Captions in quotes are verbatim from the original images. -
