B. Red, white, and navy blue wool knit tank top; diagonal pattern; scoop neckline trimmed in 1.5 inch navy band; sleeveless.
Worn with coat (Object ID #1979.134.a) and slacks (Object ID #1979.134.c) to form three piece ensemble. -

Red, white, and navy blue wool knit sheath style coat; diagonal pattern; navy trim at center fronts; 2 navy patch pockets; attached self-fabric hood with navy trim; long sleeves with cuffs; no buttons; lined in polyester knit. B. Red, white, and navy blue wool knit tank top; diagonal pattern; scoop neckline trimmed in 1.5 inch navy band; sleeveless. C. Navy blue wool slacks; straight legs; lined in cotton.

Peacock blue plush knit pile evening ensemble. A. Gown; V-neckline; long bishop sleeves; empire waistline; center front zipper closure; light blue silk crepe bodice, gathers into shoulder yoke; Peacock blue knit pile A-line skirt; floor length. B. Bolero jacket; jewel neckline; long bishop sleeves; center front hook and eye closure; lined in light blue silk crepe.
Note from Sister Aloyse Hessburg: "Blue knit pile fabric by Borg Textile Group, a Wisconsin industry. They challenged the senior class in 1970 to create garments 'for a winter evening' using their fabric. Christee selected this fabric (at that time the most flexible of their line) and used the silk fabric bodice and lining of silk crepe. The fur closure hooks were the only available on short notice. (Industry would have had time to get correct size and color.) Turquoise satin wrap evening gown; deep V-neckline to waist at both front and back; thin strap at base of neck at neck connects front and back; sleeveless; overlap that snaps in front at waist; 3 covered button closure at center back waistline; draped skirt open from waist to hem in both front and back; deep pleats over hips; ankle length. "Beginning Impressions" tag. B. Turquoise chiffon and satin striped cocoon style jacket; thin gold stripe fabric; fabric gathered into neck edge and wrist edges; edges bound with turquoise satin; button and loop closures at wrists; not lined; couture techniques throughout.

Gray wool flannel dress; jewel neckline; sleeveless; seam going down center front, forms into box pleat; 2 princess seams that come down into waist and form box pleats, one princess seam starts at shoulder and other starts at middle of front armhole; 3 horizontal seams; one goes through center front seam and is located right under bust, extending from center seam to first princess seams on each side; other horizontal seams are side seams that extend .5 inch from armpits and go to first princess seam closest to side of garment; center back zipper closure that forms into box pleat; 2 back princess seams on either side of zipper, these also form box pleats; knee length. The donor, Sharon Lipinski, constructed this dress in Sister Aloyse Hessburg's Couture class. -

Pale gray satin evening gown; spaghetti straps covered in bar and round rhinestones; princess seams; high waistline; covered button and loop closure in back; trained A-line skirt, backed in white organza; couture techniques with hand-finishing.
