  • Pauline Trigère demonstrating her cutting and draping technique with a live model in the Mount Mary Fashion Department during her visit to campus in November or December 1973. The coat she is working on is part of the Digital Fashion Archive (Object ID #2003.04.01).
  • Tan wool double cloth coat; notched collar; long raglan sleeves with turned-back cuffs; double-breasted, 4 square yellow metal buttons with reptile skin detail, one button is missing reptile skin; slash pockets with flaps; seam from under arm to front pocket; A-line silhouette; lined in white wool flannel; knee length; two stains on lower right collar.

  • Mauve wool A-line coat; cuffs and collar have five rows of decorative stitching; standing collar attached at front and back; open on side of neckline; raglan sleeves; diagonal welt pockets; four large metal buttons; olive green lining.
  • Light green heathered felt coat; shawl collar; openings at center front shoulder; five large center front buttons; four tucks on front at each shoulder; inset pockets at waist; one piece set-in sleeves; fout tucks in back at each shoulder; two seam lines at center back on collar and coat; ankle length.
  • Brown gray wool crepe dress decorated with beads; scoop neckline; sleeveless; fitted through darts; straight skirt; knee length; center back zipper; beading is clear bugle beads creating outlines of irregular circles scattered throughout the dress.
  • Camel colored double breasted coat; camel hair; notched collar; patch pockets with flap; back vent; belted on back with two button closure; one button on each cuff; hand-topstitching. Red speck on front.
  • Printed cotton piqué ensemble; A. Jacket; fabric is large-scale floral bouquets of red and yellow flowers with green sprays on a black ground; abstract watercolor effect; motif woven on a waffle ground; sleeves of jacket have design of red and yellow dots; high points at neckline front; six covered buttons and loops over the waist; fitted at the front and back waist with three darts on each side; 3/4 length leg-o-mutton sleeves; lined in black china silk. B. Skirt; design of red and yellow dots; straight skirt; straight waistband; knee length; lined. C. Hair comb; deep pink ostrich feather and orange fabric flower attached to plastic comb.

  • White silk striped blouse; sleeves gathered at shoulder; two buttons on cuffs; collar cut on bias; drapes and buttons down left side of neck and shoulder; pleats at center front. Stain on right sleeve.
