Off-white woven hat covered with turquoise blue netting crisscrossing crown; trimmed with light blue lace and tear-drop and tubular beads; crown depth is 4.5 inches, fold-back brim is 3 inches center front and 1.5 inches center back. Label: "Christian Dior Chapeaux". -

Milliner Dorothy Rutz of Glencoe, Illinois, made copies of Bes-Ben hats. -

My husband worked with him on a fragrance." -

Maroon and white silk crocheted miser's purse; long and narrow; slit at center; missing rings to secure coins at either end; decorated with silver metal cut beads in floral pattern at larger maroon and white end; rows of beads at smaller solid red end; loops of beaded fringe at smaller end; interlaced beaded fringe at larger end; unlined; 13.5 inches long by 2.5 inches wide / 34.3mm x 6.3mm.
