  • Copper colored silk taffeta wrap-around overskirt; waistband has extended hook and eye closure at center front, skirt does not meet at center front, two bronze changeable silk taffeta panels at sides, antique gold taffeta panel at back, full evening length. Shown with underskirt (Object ID #2008.01.44). Worn by Valentina.
  • Black taffeta circle skirt; multiple gores with diagonally pleated fabric mitered at seamlines; center back zipper closure; tea length.
  • Warp print white taffeta gown with pattern of bouquets of light blue roses with green leaves, rosebuds scattered about. A. Halter top bodice; jewel neckline with center front slit, low back with a long center back zipper. Lined in slubby silk plain weave. B. Long skirt; gathered into straight waistband, side inseam pockets, ankle length, unlined, hand finished. C. Stole; rectangular. Possibly this material was pleated and attached to the back of the halter top to form a bustle. Worn by Valentina.

Wrap-around blouse; V-neck; narrow shawl collar; long Dolman sleeves with unusual seaming; long wrap ties thread through opening in blouse; completely hand finished and over-cast. B. Skirt; stitched-down inverted pleats at center front and back; Triangular shaped back yoke has covered button/loop closure, one button is missing; Hand finished; Unlined; Full evening length.
