B. Straight skirt; 3 1/2 inch wide appliquéd bias-band near hemline; darts and gathers on self- fabric band; left side zipper.

Jacket; decorative cut-out shawl collar; set-in long sleeves with turned back cuffs; nipped-in waistline with five self-covered buttons and bound buttonholes; double vertical pockets match shape of collar; underlined in navy blue silk. B. Skirt; slim; narrow stitched center seam ending in kick pleat at front and back; left side zipper.

Jacket; jewel neckline; high cut revers; set-in three-quarter sleeves with cut-outs; fitted silhouette with curved diagonal darts; unusual scalloped hem and pockets; bias-bound breast pocket; three large and four small self-covered buttons with bound buttonholes at center front; 51/2 inch long center back slit; underlined in beige silk. Label: "Irene" in script on beige silk. B. Skirt; straight cut; darts on self-band; four inch long slit of either side for ease in walking.
