A. Sheer off-white organza evening blouse; peasant style; short horizontal gold and silver threads; jewel neckline ties at back; round shoulder yoke, body and sleeves gathered and added on top of yoke; full long sleeves gathered into tied cuffs; unlined; hip length. D. Gold rope belt crocheted around two lengths of gold and white fabric-covered cord. Part of a larger ensemble with skirt (Object ID #2009.11.48.b), blouse (Object ID #2009.11.48.c), and belt (Object ID #2009.11.48.e).

Blouse; loose-fitting, tucks into skirt; high neckline with binding, tied at center front; 5 inch front neckline opening; bishop sleeves with 1 inch cuffs; shirttail bottom. B. Straight skirt with black print; back zipper closure; gathered onto waistband; unpressed pleats in front; lined; knee length.
Worn with scarf (Object ID #2000.444.c) to form three piece ensemble. -
Blouse and skirt without jacket
B. Off-white silk shantung blouse; jewel neckline; sleeveless; center back zipper closure. C. Off-white slubby raw silk skirt; silk-screened with large abstract shapes in orange, maroon, blue, and green; no waistband; sewn down pleats; side zipper closure; lined in white China silk; mid-calf length.

Bright yellow linen ensemble. A. Over-blouse; low round neckline; white V-shaped insert at neckline banded with purple; full center back zipper closure. C. Suit skirt; pleated; three 4 inch front inverted pleats; fully lined.
Worn with jacket (Object ID #1985.25.b) to form three piece ensemble.
Worn by donor Mrs. FitzSimmons to the horse races. The winning horse was called "Stupendous," and Mrs. FitzSimmons was wearing the jockey's colors of yellow and purple. -
Coat
Ivory striped wool plain weave short coat; stripes are brown and dark yellow; jewel neck; center front opening with 3 large bone buttons and bound buttonholes; three-quarter length set-in padded sleeves; side seams open from waist; attached self-fabric belt that ties in back; lined in ivory silk crepe. Worn with dress (Object ID #2004.03.395.A) to form ensemble. -
Coat with belt tied in front
Ivory striped wool plain weave short coat; stripes are brown and dark yellow; jewel neck; center front opening with 3 large bone buttons and bound buttonholes; three-quarter length set-in padded sleeves; side seams open from waist; attached self-fabric belt that ties in back; lined in ivory silk crepe. Worn with Dress, Object ID #2004.03.395.A, to form ensemble. -
