Quilted gold, silver, and black metallic lamé coat; bound jewel neckline; snap front closure; princess seaming; long sleeves with bound cuffs; full length; lined in black satin.
This piece was attributed to Ann Lowe by the donor at the time of donation. There are no labels or markings. It is beautifully constructed, but other than the high quality and donor attribution, there is no other way to verify if this coat was in fact designed by Lowe. -

Pince-nez eyeglasses; stored folded together with ability to spring open into traditional eyeglass shape; no arms to secure behind ears; long silver chain attached to right lens; Art Deco style design etched into frame. B. Small round black leather pince-nez case; lined in beige kid leather; opening at top to slide pince-nez into.

Miser's purse
Maroon and white silk crocheted miser's purse; long and narrow; slit at center; missing rings to secure coins at either end; decorated with silver metal cut beads in floral pattern at larger maroon and white end; rows of beads at smaller solid red end; loops of beaded fringe at smaller end; interlaced beaded fringe at larger end; unlined; 13.5 inches long by 2.5 inches wide / 34.3mm x 6.3mm.

Sheer off-white organza evening blouse; peasant style; short horizontal gold and silver threads; jewel neckline ties at back; round shoulder yoke, body and sleeves gathered and added on top of yoke; full long sleeves gathered into tied cuffs; unlined; hip length. D. Gold rope belt crocheted around two lengths of gold and white fabric-covered cord. Part of a larger ensemble with skirt (Object ID #2009.11.48.b), blouse (Object ID #2009.11.48.c), and belt (Object ID #2009.11.48.e).

Silver lamé evening gown; plunging V-neckline; heavily padded shoulders; batwing sleeves, zippers at wrists; three open-ended darts at bustline; empire waistline with red beaded lace over cream netting, same trim on lower sleeves; center back zipper closure; inverted box pleat from waistline down; skirt slit below knee; rounded off hemline; front skirt has short overskirt with rounded edge; back skirt has godet at center back for flare, forming a train. Performance gown worn by Hildegarde. -
