  • Aqua, gray, and off-white plaid silk taffeta evening cape; large scale print; gathered at neck with ruffle; unlined; ankle length.

    This cape was used by Sister Aloyse Hessburg and Charles Kleibacker for their couture class.
  • Light gray wool felt cloche; 3 .5 inch wide brim at center front; twenty-two strips of self-fabric decorate crown and brim.

Cocktail dress; halter neckline; standing collar; sleeveless with cut-back armhole; fitted bodice with bust and waist darts; covered button closure at back neck; back of bodice is cut-out to 2 inches above waistline seam; flared skirt; short length; couture techniques. B. Belt; wide with large bow; 4 hook and eye closures.
