Aileen Ryan was the women's editor at the Milwaukee Journal and a significant supporter of the new fashion design program at Mount Mary. She taught a class in fall 1965 (likely when this photograph was taken) as well as in the later 1960s and early 1970s. -

2013 Gold Needle Award program
A program for the 2013 Gold Needle Award event, where Sister Aloyse Hessburg received the award from Mount Mary University (Milwaukee, Wisconsin). The program is subtitled "Fifty Years of Fashion" in honor of Sister Aloyse's decades of service to Mount Mary's fashion program. It contains an extensive overview of the fashion program and Sister Aloyse's contributions to it.
