  • Black and white wool gingham ensemble. A. Princess dress; standing collar; Bias cut; center front bias placket with hidden button/bound buttonhole closure; bishop sleeves; flared skirt with inverted pleats in princess seaming; inseam pockets; knee length. B. Cape; large gold-tone buckle center front closure; true bias seamline at center back; unlined; knee length.
  • Red wool melton ensemble. A. Cardigan style jacket; jewel neckline; three inch inset waistband; 2.25 inch covered button closure at left side front; two mock pocket flaps at hips; straight sleeves. B. Skirt; A-line; grosgrain ribbon waistband; knee length.
  • Hand-painted silk chiffon evening ensemble of black, green, and burnt orange. A. Evening gown; two layers of chiffon over silk underdress; long, floating sleeves; three box pleats at front of skirt; front closing with loops and covered buttons. B. Hand-rolled silk chiffon triangle scarf.
  • Off-white silk crepe ensemble with bright pink sequin and silver caviar bead trim. A. Boxy jacket; jewel neckline; hook and eye center front closure; long straight sleeves. B. Pants; no waistband; pink sequin and bead pin-stripe down the outside side seam; beaded border up side seams at hemline; ankle length.
  • Tan wool ensemble. A. Skirt is heavily gathered, wide straight waistband, center back zipper, inverted box pleat at center front with three released tucks on each side, no side seams, slash pockets hidden under the tucks, unlined throughout. One seam at center back, hand finished. B. Stole lays across shoulders. Heavy chevron pattern braid in brown and beige holds pleats in back. Self-facings with more braid, unlined. Hand finished. Worn by Valentina.
  • Blouse and skirt ensemble of black silk brocade with all over floral motif of five-petaled flowers and leaves. A. Short overblouse; jewel neckline, center front opening, slight asymmetrical wrap front with three hook and eye closures at the waist, bracelet-length dolman sleeves are cut in one with bodice, unlined with hand-overcast seams and double overcast facings. B. Skirt gathers into a straight waistband with hook and eye closures, midcalf length, unlined. All hand-overcast. Worn by Valentina.
  • Child's light blue corduroy diaper set. A. Top; Peter Pan collar; long sleeves gathered into cuffs; A-line silhouette; white arrow appliqué placed diagonally across front piercing 3 hearts; hearts embroidered with text "Love", "me", and "!"; two buttons inside to attach bottoms; 3 button and 1 snap closure at center back. B. Child's light blue corduroy diaper cover; elastic at waist and legs; loops on either side of waist to attach to diaper set top.
  • Pink and white organza turban; cluster of fabric flowers as decoration. Label: Saks Fifth Avenue.

Lavender and metallic gold velvet flowers and leaves pattern; Lower section is lace in lavender and gold; sleeveless; knee length; Deep v-neckline; one button closure at the waistline. C. Lavender and gold lace skirt; straight silhouette; straight waistband with invisible zipper; Lined in nude tulle.

    Worn with jacket (Object ID #2013.04.06.B) to form evening suit ensemble.
  • Parti-color leather tunic in hot pink, mustard, chartreuse, and coral; pea green bindings; scoop neckline; sleeveless; hip length; lined in pea green china silk.
