Evening gown
Black 4-ply silk crepe and chiffon evening gown; deep V-neckline in front; sleeveless; A-line silhouette in crepe; black silk chiffon capelet extends from front neckline to back, hanging freely to knees in back; shoulders lined in beige soufflé; center back zipper closure; ankle length.
This gown was used by Sister Aloyse Hessburg and Charles Kleibacker for their couture class. -

Evening gown
Black cotton piqué evening with black seed beading at hips; bias cut; one shoulder strap; side zipper closure; sleeveless; very fitted through hip, diagonal beaded hip panel; diagonal seams; full flared skirt; skirt has black organza petticoat and brown taffeta lining; mid-calf length.
This dress was made when Charles Kleibacker was designing for Nettie Rosenstein, but was never put into production. Charles said Nettie told him that this would be too difficult to fit for ready-to-wear. -
Cocktail dress
Black lace-like cocktail dress; modern version of lace in irregular geometrics in both cotton-like fiber and shiny synthetic; motifs are diamond within square, cirle within square, and square within square; lined in beige silk shantung; U-shaped low neckline; small cap kimono sleeves; fitted bodice with high waistline at front; flared skirt on bias in front, A-line skirt on grain in back; has center back long zipper; natural waistline at back; knee length. -
