  • Beige with brown spatter print silk ensemble. C. Short bolero jacket; jewel neckline, 3/4 length kimono sleeves, cut in one with body of jacket. French darts, unlined. Used for Valentina's famous "Quick change" routine.

    Goes with dress (Object ID #1995.382.A), coat (Object ID #1995.382.B), wrap (Object ID #1995.382.D), and belt (Object ID #1995.382.E) to form five piece ensemble.
  • Beige with brown spatter print silk ensemble. A. Fit and flare dress; normal waist, halter neckline, center back nylon zipper. Halter has a front slit with a reverse, skirt is gathered. Unlined, knee length. B. A-line coat; jewel neckline, Chinese ball and loop center front closure, 3/4 length kimono sleeves, cut in one with the coat. Same length as dress, unlined. Possibly had longer sleeves at some point. C. Short bolero jacket; jewel neckline, 3/4 length kimono sleeves, cut in one with body of jacket. French darts, unlined. D. Wrap, single piece of fabric. E. Belt latches in back with hook and eyes and snap closure. Small, flat bow.

    This ensemble was used for Valentina's famous "Quick change" routine.
  • Dark green wool coat; four-inch wide large rolled collar, princess line, long raglan sleeves, asymmetrical center front with hook and eye closure, two decorative large covered buttons at center front, knee length.
  • Double-breasted floor-length black wool coat; notched collar with silver fox fur overlay, two oversized buttons slotted at waistline seam. Waist dips at center back. Straight sleeves, full flare skirt. Silk lining.
  • Black silk taffeta evening coat; A-line trapeze shape, jewel neckline, tucks off of neckline; one button and bound buttonhole closure at center front neck, short batwing sleeves with tucks, A-line skirt with deep pleats at underarm side seams, hidden pockets, tea length, appears to have been re-lined. Worn by Valentina.
  • Beige mohair swing coat; Buster Brown collar, clutch front, square set dolman sleeves, inseam pockets set into princess seam coming off of shoulder seam, midcalf length, much wider at hem, lined in brown silk crepe. Worn by Valentina.
  • Beige silk gazierre evening coat; cardigan style, convertible collar, dolman sleeves, clutch, no center front closure, unusual seaming, inseam pockets; midcalf length, lined with silk taffeta. Lustrous thread in fabric gives subtle shine. Small red stains near pockets. Worn by Valentina.
  • Black silk satin cardigan evening coat with large cut velvet flower design; neck built up, no front closure, single welt inseam pockets, straight short sleeves, flange down center back, underlined with silk organza, completely hand-overcast and finished. Worn by Valentina. Possibly 1940s fabric re-made into a coat.
  • Floor length coat with small rolled collar and long sleeves. Printed in shades of hot pink, large scale leopards printed across garment. Center front button closure. Lined, size 12.
  • Blue fur double breasted coat with standing collar. Notched sleeve cuffs, back button-on half belt, and angled pocket flaps., Lined.
  • Black spaghetti strap evening gown with bust shirring. Empire waist. Ruffle at knee and hem, back zipper closure, lined in black taffeta. Ankle length. Paired with red organza jacket with embroidered dots. Ruffle neck, opening, and hem. Three-quarter length sleeves, ruffle hem.
  • Black double breasted coat with gathered peplum skirt, standing collar, and topstitched princess seams. Set-in sleeves with button detail noted.
  • Three-piece, single breasted skirt suit. Vertically quilted jacket with mandarin collar and center front button closure. Straight set-in sleeves with button placket and chain link belt with Givenchy logo. Paired with quilted knee length pencil skirt with side zipper and hip panels. Size 6.
