Black silk taffeta cocktail dress; slim sheath silhouette; strapless; center back zipper closure; boned bodice; natural waistline; five inch wide band of self-fabric pleating cascading down front and ending at hemline in a narrower band of pleating. -
Evening gown
Long off-white silk organdy evening gown with floral embroidery in shades of yellow-gold, bronze, and off-white; fitted strapless bodice with boned inner constructed bodice; empire style folded yellow-gold silk taffeta attached belt, ending in long and wide shaped floats at top of center back zipper; floats can be worn as train or tied as sash; shorter straight front, longer and fuller back; two attached slips are hand-overcast. -

Pale pink silk taffeta cocktail dress; warp print with scattered dark pink rosebuds and green leaves; rounded neckline with bias banding; twenty inch long center back zipper with hand-overcasting; cap sleeves with shirring and gussets; french dart; drop waistline with attached self-fabric cummerbund; full gathered ballerina length skirt. -
Shrug
Black silk taffeta shrug; in shape of tube; one end gathered with ruffle, other end is a slit; darts at neck; self-lined.
This shrug was used by Sister Aloyse Hessburg and Charles Kleibacker for their couture class. -
