This photograph appeared on page 106 of Arches 1966 (Mount Mary College's yearbook) with the following caption: "Miss Aileen Ryan points out the latest fashion trends to Sue Polanski, Monica McCue and Jan Rother."
Aileen Ryan was the women's editor at the Milwaukee Journal and a significant supporter of the new fashion design program at Mount Mary. She taught a class in fall 1965 (likely when this photograph was taken) as well as in the later 1960s and early 1970s. -
Ronald Amey with students and Sister Aloyse Hessburg at Mount Mary College
This photograph appeared on page 44 of Arches 1968 (Mount Mary College's yearbook) with the following caption: "Cindy Gefke, Pat Day, Ellen Van Horn, and Sister M. Aloyse [Sister Aloyse Hessburg] listen attentively as Mr. Ronald Amey, New York designer, gives a critique on a budding designer’s sketch."
The exact date of the photograph is unknown, but Amey first visited Mount Mary College in 1965 and returned for student counseling sessions in 1966 (among possible other trips).
