    Possibly an Ann Lowe gown based on the distinctive lace trim construction on the interior hem, a signature finishing technique frequently used by Lowe.

  • Gray wool flannel dress; jewel neckline; sleeveless; seam going down center front, forms into box pleat; 2 princess seams that come down into waist and form box pleats, one princess seam starts at shoulder and other starts at middle of front armhole; 3 horizontal seams; one goes through center front seam and is located right under bust, extending from center seam to first princess seams on each side; other horizontal seams are side seams that extend .5 inch from armpits and go to first princess seam closest to side of garment; center back zipper closure that forms into box pleat; 2 back princess seams on either side of zipper, these also form box pleats; knee length. The donor, Sharon Lipinski, constructed this dress in Sister Aloyse Hessburg's Couture class.

  • Gold lamé evening gown; long, slim silhouette; bias cut; backless; halter; V-neckline; self-fabric sash hooks around waist; train. Garment is in poor condition. Hildegarde's first Paris gown.
  • A. Black lace gown; camisole bodice; fitted skirt; bands of pleated chiffon trimmed with 1/2 inch pink grosgrain ribbons running from side bodice down back across hem and up other side. B. Black slip, likely of silk or rayon; white straps have been sewn on at a later date mimicking the straps of the evening gown.
