Brown wool straight skirt; knee length; top is china silk, rest is brown wool where skirt shows below smock. This item was created by Norman Norell for Traina-Norell fashion house. -

Brown and white wool tweed cape; large, rounded notched collar; three button closure; slits on princess line for arms; lined in brown silk; mid-calf length. Worn with jacket (Object ID #2009.11.34.a) and skirt (Object ID #2009.11.34.b).

Brown, silver, and gold metallic floral brocade coat; princess line in front; inset slash pockets; sable fur trim down center front, at cuffs and mandarin style collar, and at bottom of coat; hook closures; attached self-fabric belt. -

Multicolored wool sweater coat in shades of purple, pink, and brown; inside is solid pink; jewel collar with thin pink ribbon inside; single snap closure; shoulder pads; shoulder roll for added shape; long sleeves; flared bottom; calf length.
The donor bought the coat from creator Virginia Halaska, Mount Mary College class of 1952. -
Dress
Brown crepe dress; standing collar; dropped waistband; short gathered skirt; long raglan bishop sleeves with cuffs; center back covered ball button with faggotted strip closure over hand-picked zipper; lined in beige silk.
Created by Sister Aloyse Hessburg's student, Kay Richter Bogust, for the 1970 couture class. -
Cover-up
Brown and white diamond print sheer cotton cover-up; ties in back; collarless; raglan sleeves; hip length. Worn with halter top (Object ID #1979.136.a) and shorts (Object ID #1979.136.b).
