Pale blue tulle evening gown; strapless; medium blue tulle gathered horizontally over bust; another piece of light blue tulle forms the rest of the bodice; decorated with scalloped edge and beading, sequins; full gathered skirt of two layers of tulle; extra pieces of medium blue tulle stitched to waistline; side metal zipper closure; light lavender taffeta lining; dress has been altered in back on the boning.

This suit is an exact reproduction of a 1908 theater suit in the collection of the Wisconsin State Historical Society. Gown
Pale pink tulle and silk taffeta prom gown; pink tulle pink taffeta; pale pink feathers around bust; rhinestone straps; tulle decorated with embroidered pale pink flowers and rhinestones; fitted torso; flared skirt; covered buttons and loops in back; ankle length.
Made by the aunt of the donor, Gaetanina Balistreri, for Balistreri to wear to the 1943 Mount Mary College Junior Prom. The gown was originally made strapless, but Mount Mary College required straps, so rhinestone straps were added. -

Missoni cocktail dress
Floral print chiffon cocktail dress; floral print is green, black, and dark gray on light gray ground. Layer of black tulle over chiffon, tulle decorated with large black sequins, black beads, white pearls, and clear rhinestones in an asymmetrical cluster at right hip. Scoop neckline in front; deep V-neckline in back, straight silhouette, sleeveless, many layers of black organza rectangular ‘petals’ on each shoulder, line of beading extends from right princess line to the hem in both front and back and around the hip, above knee length, side zipper and buttons closure.
