A. Royal blue wool evening gown; small cowl collar; sleeveless; hand-picked zipper closure; straight skirt hanging from yoke bodice; long slit asymmetrically placed in skirt front. B. Royal blue and magenta wool cape; royal blue front, magenta back; small cap sleeves; very full. Performance ensemble worn by Hildegarde. -
Evening gown
Royal blue wool evening gown; small cowl collar; sleeveless; hand-picked zipper closure; straight skirt hanging from yoke bodice; long slit asymmetrically placed in skirt front. Worn with matching cape (Object ID #1982.304.B) to form two piece evening ensemble. Performance ensemble worn by Hildegarde. -

Artist name is P. Kasper. Marker, charcoal, and pastel on construction paper. Measurements: 12 x 14 inches.
The artist is possibly Patricia "Patsy" Kasper, a Fashion Design major, Class of 1972. -

A letter from Sandra Keiser, instructor in the Fashion Design Program at Mount Mary College (Milwaukee, Wisconsin), to Sister Ellen Lorenz and Sister Luetta Wolf, expressing her ideas regarding the organization of the Home Economics Department. Keiser was in favor of making the individual programs (including Fashion Design) into separate departments and had suggestions for department chairpeople. This was in response to the "Letter from Sister Ellen Lorenz and Sister Luetta Wolf to faculty, December 8, 1983" (linked below). -

Light gray wool knit sheath dress; V-shaped neckline; seven V-shaped inserts of self-fabric cording; left side zipper closure; sleeveless.
