    This program was originally a website. Each webpage has been collected into the single pdf attached here. The list of designers and items (beginning on page 3 of the pdf) is followed by information about each designer and the concepts behind their designs (beginning on page 15 of the pdf). While the list of designers and items is numbered, the information about each designer and their designs is not, but it follows the same order. Not every designer/item has a section with additional information, however. This is followed by information about the "Super Six," the Fashion Show Coordination class (beginning on page 89 of the pdf).

  • This photograph shows a fashion show at Mount Mary College, likely from 1965-1968. Ronald Amey, New York fashion designer, stands on the right side. It is unknown whether the garments being modeled were his work or that of Mount Mary students.

    This image is part of a collection of snapshots likely taken by Virginia Moore or her friends with a personal camera during Virginia's time as a student at Mount Mary College in Milwaukee, Wisconsin (1953-1957). The snapshots were printed on Kodak Velox paper. The captions are primarily based upon information found on the back of the original photos, most likely written by Virginia. Some images had no information at all and individuals or events are identified based on other captions and information available in the Mount Mary archives. Captions in quotes are verbatim from the original images.
  • Beige with brown spatter print silk ensemble. A. Fit and flare dress; normal waist, halter neckline, center back nylon zipper. Halter has a front slit with a reverse, skirt is gathered. Unlined, knee length. B. A-line coat; jewel neckline, Chinese ball and loop center front closure, 3/4 length kimono sleeves, cut in one with the coat. Same length as dress, unlined. Possibly had longer sleeves at some point. C. Short bolero jacket; jewel neckline, 3/4 length kimono sleeves, cut in one with body of jacket. French darts, unlined. D. Wrap, single piece of fabric. E. Belt latches in back with hook and eyes and snap closure. Small, flat bow.

    This ensemble was used for Valentina's famous "Quick change" routine.

On the left is Sister Ellen Lorenz (president of Mount Mary College) and on the right is Laurence Eiseman Jr. (her son and vice president of Florence Eiseman Inc.) and Sister Aloyse Hessburg.
  • This image shows Florence Eiseman wearing an evening gown designed by Pauline Trigère (Object ID #1988.19) when she won the Gimbels Fashion Forum Award in 1971. The award was given annually to "the Wisconsinite who has made the most distinguished contribution to the world of business, community leadership and fashion."

  • A. Black and white check wool bolero jacket; notched collar; two black 1.25 inch buttons/bound buttonhole center front closure; straight sleeves; lined with light orange silk shantung. B. Black and white check wool skirt; dirndl style; knee length. C. Light orange silk shantung blouse; standing collar with attached tie; double-breasted center front closure; elastic at waist with peplum; sleeveless. D. Black patent leather belt; 1.75 inches wide.
  • A. Pale yellow and black wool plaid blazer; notched collar; 4 brown buttons/bound buttonholes at center front; double-breasted closure; long straight sleeves. B. Black underdress; straight silhouette; silk tank top attached to wool skirt with accordion pleats; knee length. C. Pale yellow silk crepe blouse; jewel neckline; sleeveless; darts into collar; covered buttons on shoulder. D. Pale yellow silk crepe tie; snaps onto back neckline of blouse; 76 inches by 2.5 inches.
