  • A. Black wool twill worsted nun's habit; jewel neckline; shoulder yoke; large sleeves with turned-back cuffs; 2 black safety pin closure; 8 tucks into shoulder yoke; unfitted waist; ankle length. B. Black herringbone weave, possibly nylon, cinture belt; hook and eye closures in front under flap. C. Black cotton slip; scoop neckline; sleeveless; princess seams; right inseam pocket; knee length. D. White plain weave cotton forehead cover; rectangle; two pairs of ties on short ends. E. White starched cotton wimple; two connected rectangles; two ties; tied at top of head and pinned in back, making two horizontal pleats at neck across shoulders; should have vertical fold lines in front when worn. F. Black worsted wool veil; white starched linen underveil glued to front underside; connects with snaps at back underside; veil pinned at center front forehead to forehead cover. G. Nine straight pins with black or white heads; used to pin veil to forehead cover. H. White polyester knitted skullcap; worn under veil.

    This style of habit was worn by Sister M. Jovanna and all School Sisters of Notre Dame before 1964.

Green and purple cotton plaid twill shirt; occasional yellow and white stripe, asymmetrical, wing collar, long kimono sleeves with gussets, center front opening with four yellow plastic buttons, right side front has modified princess seam into the side seam to form a pocket, right side is longer, left side front has a seam under the bust, Shoulder piece has gathering under the bust, right back of bodice continues the modified princess seam up to the left back neckline, left side back has a contour dart, unlined. B. Green, purple, burgundy, and yellow laid wool pants; made in Italy, straight waistband with a button and zipper at the side, tapered, ankle length. Vivienne Westwood Red Label.

  • Wool coat with horizontal stripes of green, pink, purple, with narrow strip of dark red separating each stripe. Design on jacket evokes Fair Isle patterns. Fabric is made in Italy. Tan fake fur collar, long set-in sleeves, center front opening, five plastic brown/white buttons, buttonholes under a placket, knee length, lined in quilted tan fabric. Vivienne Westwood Red Label.

  • Red tartan plaid wool twill A-line skirt; waistband in red, yellow and black. Front of skirt has two box pleats behind which are pockets, skirt closes at center back with a zipper which has been altered at a later date by adding an inset of fabric at the zipper to increase size of the waist and hips, calf length, unlined.
  • Black wool jacket; collarless, long square set-in sleeves, one hook/loop at waist, basting stitches still present on wearer's left side.

  • Red wool fitted jacket; high Mandarin collar, long sleeves darted at shoulders, five button closure at center front, bound buttonholes, covered buttons (two missing), flap pockets at hip. Alteration at center front.

  • Dark green wool coat; four-inch wide large rolled collar, princess line, long raglan sleeves, asymmetrical center front with hook and eye closure, two decorative large covered buttons at center front, knee length.
  • Double-breasted floor-length black wool coat; notched collar with silver fox fur overlay, two oversized buttons slotted at waistline seam. Waist dips at center back. Straight sleeves, full flare skirt. Silk lining.
  • Tan wool double cloth coat; notched collar; long raglan sleeves with turned-back cuffs; double-breasted, 4 square yellow metal buttons with reptile skin detail, one button is missing reptile skin; slash pockets with flaps; seam from under arm to front pocket; A-line silhouette; lined in white wool flannel; knee length; two stains on lower right collar.
