This was made for an exhibition. The maker Pam Rehberg was a professor of theatrical costume at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. -
Dress
Ivory wool dress; sweetheart neckline; ivory tulle illusion panel with lace detailing covers bosom to standing collar; similar illusion panel at back; center back hook and eye closures; short wool sleeves, gathered at shoulders; long tulle undersleeves with lace detailing; full length skirt; soutache braid trim all over bodice and down center front and back of skirt; slightly trained; cotton lining. This suit is an exact reproduction of a 1908 theater suit in the collection of the Wisconsin State Historical Society. The donor made this replica as her senior project in Fashion Design at Mount Mary College in 1974. -

Made by Mount Mary Fashion student Laura Schultz in 1985. This is a copy of a 1920s white evening dress by Vionnet in the collection. -
Coat
Ivory wool theater coat; shawl collar; two large button and loop closures at center front; long sleeves, gathered at shoulders; lace and soutache trim at sleeve hems; soutache trim on collar and along princess seams at front and back; satin lining; mid-calf length.
