  Light brown British wool crepe suit. A. Jacket; long and fitted; notched collar; deep squared yoke in front; deep "V" yoke in back; two large oval-shaped "cameo" buttons and wide bound buttonholes on front yoke; four small self-bound buttons and bound buttonholes below; long set-in sleeves with slit cuffs; lined in beige silk. B. Skirt; very slim; seaming forms "V" at center back; inverted pleat near hem; seven inch long hand-overcast zipper on left side.

  Blue broadcloth suit; fabric is black scrollwork print on blue ground. A. Jacket; fitted; modified shawl collar with lapel point; hip length; long sleeves. B. Skirt; tiered; 6 gores; mid-calf length. Suit fabric is very faded.

  Navy blue wool herringbone suit. A. Jacket; decorative cut-out shawl collar; set-in long sleeves with turned back cuffs; nipped-in waistline with five self-covered buttons and bound buttonholes; double vertical pockets match shape of collar; underlined in navy blue silk. B. Skirt; slim; narrow stitched center seam ending in kick pleat at front and back; left side zipper.

  Navy blue and white checked silk and wool suit. A. Boxy jacket; double-breasted; small pointed collar; set-in long sleeves; six white ball buttons and bound buttonholes on wide front panel that extends around hem length; underlined in navy blue silk. B. Straight skirt; 3 1/2 inch wide appliquéd bias-band near hemline; darts and gathers on self- fabric band; left side zipper.

B. Skirt; slim and straight; deep vent at center back; mid-calf length.

B. Straight skirt; bias-bound slashed side pockets; stitched-down tucks and darts; left side zipper.

Jacket; semi-fitted; upper collar is khaki, wool epaulets are orange; epaulets have silver buttons and bound buttonholes; six silver buttons down front with bound buttonholes; set-in long sleeves; 1.5 inch wide self-fabric belt with leather backing; four keepers and squared silver ball and bar buckle; lined in orange china silk. B. Skirt; A-line; straight waistband; softly gathered panels; front panel of khaki; slit open almost to waistband at center front, creating the look of a center pleat; hand-overcast center back zipper; underskirt has khaki wool front and khaki silk taffeta back; knee length.

Turquoise satin wrap evening gown; deep V-neckline to waist at both front and back; thin strap at base of neck at neck connects front and back; sleeveless; overlap that snaps in front at waist; 3 covered button closure at center back waistline; draped skirt open from waist to hem in both front and back; deep pleats over hips; ankle length. "Beginning Impressions" tag. B. Turquoise chiffon and satin striped cocoon style jacket; thin gold stripe fabric; fabric gathered into neck edge and wrist edges; edges bound with turquoise satin; button and loop closures at wrists; not lined; couture techniques throughout.
