Worn with matching shawl (Object ID #2004.03.28.B).
  • Yellow and white floral silk chiffon dinner dress; "U" neckline in front, plunges deeper in back; hanging sleeves in back that become bell sleeves at shoulder; attached straight beige slip underneath, attached at waist; sleeveless slip with lingerie straps; concealed back zipper, hook and eyes, and snap closures; flared skirt; knee length.
  • Red wool herringbone suit. A. Jacket; fitted; unusual collar; button and flap hip detail. B. Skirt; six-gore skirt with button trim.
  • Red silk lamé evening gown with gold and silver flecks; straight silhouette; square neckline; elbow-length sleeves; shoulder pads; left side zipper; ankle length; dress has stripe effect through the manipulation of the fabric, stripes appear vertical on bodice and horizontal on skirt.
  • This fashion design manual was written by three staff/faculty members in the fashion design program at Mount Mary College in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, around 1980.

  • Black patent leather purse; rectangular boxy shape; wooden bamboo type handle connected by gold D-rings to 1/2 inch patent leather straps; gold turn closure at bottom of straps; top-stitching; navy blue interior; two pockets inside spanning the length of handbag; 8.5 inches wide by 6 inches high.

  • Glass bead and crystal cuff links; beads held together with gold wire; one side is single large glass pearl; other side is made of one large glass oblong pearl and two brass oblong beads; brass beads have faceted crystal beads on each end.

  • Letter from Hildegarde to Sister Aloyse Hessburg, April 26, 1982, in which Hildegarde discusses the upcoming fundraiser at Mount Mary College at which she will be performing.
  • Fashion illustration of two women. The first wears a calf length coat with a collar over a skirt and a peplum top. The second wears a cropped jacket with plaid lapels and wide elbow length sleeves over a full dark skirt. Black and white illustration. On the back reads, “p 9 Designs by Kristine Bradley Pam Paulus.” There is no year, the artist is labeled as Herzberg. Watercolor, pencil, pen, and oil on board. Measurements: 13 x 19 inches. Same subjects as 2025.01.66.

  • Fashion illustration of three women in black and white illustration. The first wears a light short sleeved top and a skirt with a paper bag waist and a plaid layer over a darker skirt. The second wears a short sleeved and collared housedress with darker and lighter components. The third wears a sleeveless dress that has a vertical strip on the top and a vertical floral pattern on the skirt with a cinched waist. No date, the artist is listed as Herzberg. On the back is written, “p 6 designs by Beverly Quinn Kathy Merkel Carol Bantz.” Watercolor, pencil, and pen on board. Measurements: 13 x 16 inches.

The second wears a full length dress with a deep v neckline to the thickly belted waist and the fabric is lighter. All in black and white. Written on the back is, “p 17 Designs by Karen Echols Beth Moster” but no year. Artist is Herzberg. Black and white watercolor, pencil, and pen on board. Measurements: 12 x 17 inches.
