  • Blue broadcloth suit; fabric is black scrollwork print on blue ground. A. Jacket; fitted; modified shawl collar with lapel point; hip length; long sleeves. B. Skirt; tiered; 6 gores; mid-calf length. Suit fabric is very faded.
  • Blue and white tiny checked wool suit. A. Jacket; long; fitted silhouette; cut-out and bias-banded shawl collar; matching flaps in yoke area; set-in long sleeves, narrow turned-back cuffs; shaped panels; seven small self-covered buttons and bound buttonholes; matched cut-out shaping with banding on lower edge; straight across back hem length. B. Straight skirt; bias-bound slashed side pockets; stitched-down tucks and darts; left side zipper.
  • Peacock blue plush knit pile evening ensemble. A. Gown; V-neckline; long bishop sleeves; empire waistline; center front zipper closure; light blue silk crepe bodice, gathers into shoulder yoke; Peacock blue knit pile A-line skirt; floor length. B. Bolero jacket; jewel neckline; long bishop sleeves; center front hook and eye closure; lined in light blue silk crepe.

    Note from Sister Aloyse Hessburg: "Blue knit pile fabric by Borg Textile Group, a Wisconsin industry. They challenged the senior class in 1970 to create garments 'for a winter evening' using their fabric. Christee selected this fabric (at that time the most flexible of their line) and used the silk fabric bodice and lining of silk crepe. The fur closure hooks were the only available on short notice. (Industry would have had time to get correct size and color.) In a way - industry and Mount Mary College were promoting the possibility fo using Borg Textiles to the Wisconsin public."

Child's blue and white striped seersucker sunsuit; yellow and white striped straps and band around waist; straps attach to front with 1 button each; appliqués of sandcastle, pail, and shovel; gathering at waist and around legholes. B. Child's blue and white striped seersucker sun hat; soft crown; wide brim; yellow and white striped band around brim; part of brim is turned-back with large yellow and white striped bow. B. Peach silk chiffon underdress; V-neckline front and back; long skirt. C. Multi-colored silk chiffon scarf; bucol fabric in green, red, and blue; worn at neckline, flows down back. Performance ensemble worn by Hildegarde.
  • A. Navy blue, red, and white wool/rayon knit cardigan sweater; diamond and stripe pattern; gold lion head buttons. B. Navy blue wool/rayon knit skirt; elastic waistband; knit-in godets.

    The third piece of this ensemble is a pair of pants (Object ID #1988.143.c) that can be worn with the sweater; the three pieces are not intended to be worn simultaneously.
