Part of a theater suit with dress (Object ID #2022.05.01.a).

    This suit is an exact reproduction of a 1908 theater suit in the collection of the Wisconsin State Historical Society. The donor made this replica as her senior project in Fashion Design at Mount Mary College in 1974.
  • Metallic gold lace cloche helmet; two flaps extend over ears; asymmetrical; lined in beige chiffon - chiffon is torn; no headsize band or wiring; King Tut inspired. Referred to as a Juliet cloche in catalog record.

    Possibly worn by Julilly House Kohler or another member of the Kohler or House families.
