Navy blue and off-white wool piqué weave cape; no collar; 2 flaps for trim; 5 bound buttonhole closure; elbow length; snaps inside collar to attach to dress.
  • A. Black wool jersey jumper; sleeveless; 5 shoulder darts front and back; center back zipper closure; 2 welt pockets; V-shaped neckline. B. Off-white silk crepe tailored blouse; joined to black silk petticoat; center front button closure; 4 self-covered half-dome buttons/bound buttonholes; Peter Pan collar with black grosgrain bow; straight sleeves.
  • Off-white silk crepe ensemble with bright pink sequin and silver caviar bead trim. A. Boxy jacket; jewel neckline; hook and eye center front closure; long straight sleeves. B. Pants; no waistband; pink sequin and bead pin-stripe down the outside side seam; beaded border up side seams at hemline; ankle length.

    This toile was used by Sister Aloyse Hessburg and Charles Kleibacker for their couture class.

B. Off-white silk shantung blouse; jewel neckline; sleeveless; center back zipper closure. C. Off-white slubby raw silk skirt; silk-screened with large abstract shapes in orange, maroon, blue, and green; no waistband; sewn down pleats; side zipper closure; lined in white China silk; mid-calf length.

Off-white silk twill blouse; self-bow at neck; sleeveless; center front opening with 4 covered button closure; gathers at waist; underarm stains.

  • Off-white straw picture hat; 4 .5 inch round crown; purple straw band with large cluster of velveteen violets at right side; 4.5 inch brim. Donor was Frank Olive's sister.

  • Off-white silk chiffon over silk evening gown with blue rose print; V-neckline in front, square neckline in back; square set-in sleeves. Worn with evening coat (Object ID #1983.239).

    Worn by Lynn Fontanne to receive a special Tony Award for Lifetime Achievement in 1970, although the gown was created much earlier. This gown was possibly made by Valentina, but has been significantly altered. Purchased at the auction of Lynn Fontanne's estate using funds from Mount Mary alumnae.
