This toile was used by Sister Aloyse Hessburg and Charles Kleibacker for their couture class. -

Off-white slubby raw silk skirt; silk-screened with large abstract shapes in orange, maroon, blue, and green; no waistband; sewn down pleats; side zipper closure; lined in white China silk; mid-calf length.

Worn by Lynn Fontanne to receive a special Tony Award for Lifetime Achievement in 1970, although the gown was created much earlier. This gown was possibly made by Valentina, but has been significantly altered.
