  • Black tulle ensemble. A. Striped black tulle blouse; tulle has alternating thick and thin velvet stripe, bias cut with asymmetrical hem, sleeveless, hip length, unlined. B. Black silk ottoman evening coat; Mandarin collar, darts at neck front, hook closure at neck, sleeveless, back has modified princess seams, ankle length, unlined. C. Striped black tulle skirt; bias cut, below knee length, side zipper closure, unlined.
  • Black tulle ensemble. A. Striped black tulle blouse, tulle has alternating thick and thin stripe of velvet; Blouse cut on the bias with an asymmetrical hem; sleeveless; Hip length; Unlined. C. Striped black tulle skirt cut on bias; Below knee length; Side zipper closure; Unlined.

    Worn with coat (Object ID #2011.12.01.B) to form three piece ensemble.
  • Black cotton jersey evening gown; high jewel neckline, long sleeves, one fastener at top of back, back tapers open and bare down to hips, beige triangular chiffon inserts over the back hips, ankle length.

  • Black wool skirt suit. A. Jacket; decorated with an under placket of fuchsia sequins in flame pattern around the neckline and front opening (some sequins missing). Collarless, snap and hook closures, purple sequin separate flower on the left chest, modified princess seams to create a small waist, pockets on hips set into the seams. B. Black wool straight skirt; straight waistband, center back zipper, front and left side hem has flame shape cut-outs of fuschia sequins (some sequins missing), knee length.   • Corset and skirt ensemble. A. Beige brocade corset; floral damask pattern, right side zipper closure, asymmetrical with tucks under left breast, external boning in front, asymmetrical point on right front at bottom. B. Brown chiffon skirt; made up of two fabrics- most of the skirt is a tan ground of abstract shapes in dark brown and reddish pink. The other fabric is pleated chiffon in khaki yellows of stripes. Used for a flounce on the hip and an underskirt; no waistband, center back zipper, many flounces and layers throughout, asymmetrical, ankle length, lined in tan chiffon.

  • Lace gown; bodice of gold lame lace, purple crinkled taffeta straps, bow at center front under bodice, empire waistline, skirt of brown floral lace with green and orange flower clusters, slim skirt has princess seaming and short train in back, invisible zipper at center back.

  • Metallic crinkled purple silk taffeta evening coat; trench coat style, notched collar, long raglan sleeves, tabs and covered button at wrist, double breasted with two snaps at the waist, self-belt sewn to the center back, lined in dark purple, ankle length.

  • A. Forest green suede dress; V-neckline, sleeveless, columnar silhouette, gathered at the natural waist, belt loops at the side seams, decorated with appliqués that appear to be feathers and small real feathers, asymmetrical decorations, center front slit is decorated with feathers and appliqués, ankle length, no hem, uneven. B. Forest green suede tie belt.
  • Pale blue multicolored dress of two different fabrics; silk fabric at bodice front and skirt right side has ombre effect to a slighter darker blue, long uneven pleats. Viscose/polyester fabric at bodice sides and skirt left is light blue with small uneven wrinkles, scoop neckline, shoulder yoke, sleeveless, six center front buttons to a dropped waistline, short flared skirt, lined in light blue china silk.
  • Wool coat with horizontal stripes of green, pink, purple, with narrow strip of dark red separating each stripe. Design on jacket evokes Fair Isle patterns. Fabric is made in Italy. Tan fake fur collar, long set-in sleeves, center front opening, five plastic brown/white buttons, buttonholes under a placket, knee length, lined in quilted tan fabric. Vivienne Westwood Red Label.

  • Plaid ensemble. A. Green and purple cotton plaid twill shirt; occasional yellow and white stripe, asymmetrical, wing collar, long kimono sleeves with gussets, center front opening with four yellow plastic buttons, right side front has modified princess seam into the side seam to form a pocket, right side is longer, left side front has a seam under the bust, Shoulder piece has gathering under the bust, right back of bodice continues the modified princess seam up to the left back neckline, left side back has a contour dart, unlined. B. Green, purple, burgundy, and yellow laid wool pants; made in Italy, straight waistband with a button and zipper at the side, tapered, ankle length. Vivienne Westwood Red Label.

  • Dark brown nubby fleece coat with wide dark red stripes; made from one piece of asymmetrical fabric, collar drapes and ties, sleeve seams angle to the front neckline forming a raglan sleeve, ties are tan cotton muslin, slash pockets have tan cotton interiors, knee length, unlined.   • Dark blue and white jumpsuit; bodice is blue and white vertical striped cotton oxford cloth, jewel neckline, long sleeves, center front dark blue buttons, drawstring at waist, blue wool twill straight legged pants, ankle length, unlined. Vivienne Westwood, London.

  • Cream herringbone wool ensemble. A. Jacket; v-neckline, long two-piece set-in sleeves with wool fringe inserted into the outside seam at the cuff, many waist darts creating nipped-in waist, high hip length, single welt pockets, four snaps closure on the princess seam line, built-in fringed shawl is thrown over the left shoulder, large silver tone metal "Sheriff" badge in star shape attached to jacket, lined in white acetate taffeta. B. Skirt; straight waistband, wrap-around style overlaps in front, midcalf length, lined in white acetate taffeta.
  • A. Brown suede outdoor jacket with teal blue faux fur lining and trim; roll collar, straight long set-in sleeves with two rows of teal faux fur at the wrist, shoulder yoke front and back, back section has center back seam, modified princess seam extends to the side seam with an inseam pocket, two wooden toggle closures, hip length. B. Brown suede hood with teal blue faux fur lining and trim, chin strap snaps on the left side.

  • A. Tailored menswear style silk crepe shirt of uneven teal, brown, white, yellow, and purple stripes, buttons down center front. B. Silk crepe tie of uneven teal, brown, white, yellow, and purple stripes. C. Wool twill teal plaid skirt; lines of tartan pattern are white and purple, no waistband, invisible zipper, chain at waist, sewn down pleats, knee length, unlined.

  • Dark red and black wool gabardine ensemble. A. Jacket; high standing collar, extended armscye, long black knit wool sleeves, center front closure of many snaps covered by faux buttons, many seams create a nipped waistline and wide hips, flaps for faux pockets on hips, sewn-on belt buckles in front, back is black knit wool with a dark red gabardine swag extending from the shoulders to the waist, black velvet rose in the swag, lined in red acetate taffeta. B. Straight skirt; princess seaming in front, black knit wool center back, knee length, Zipper closure on the side back princess seam, lined in red acetate taffeta. Ensemble is named "Red Hot."

Pale orange silk/rayon burnout velvet tunic; lavender and metallic gold velvet flowers and leaves pattern, lower section is lavender and gold lace, sleeveless, deep v-neckline, one button closure at the waistline, knee length. B. Lavender and gold lace jacket; surplice front, low v-neckline, long set-in sleeves, loops for buttons, lined in beige tulle. C. Lavender and gold lace skirt; straight silhouette, straight waistband with invisible zipper, lined in beige tulle.
