Aqua pleated silk evening blouse; purple and peacock blue silk-screened vaguely Indian motifs outlined in white; jewel neckline with narrow tie, slit to chest; narrow set-in sleeves end in tied knot; deep center front slit from waist to hem; unlined; knee length. B. White china silk evening pants; no waistband; center back zipper closure; lined; ankle length.

Blue silk charmeuse dress; high V-neckline; tiny cap sleeves; A-line bias-cut skirt with center front seam; center back zipper closure; skirt gathered at center back.
This dress was used by Sister Aloyse Hessburg and Charles Kleibacker for their couture class. -
Scarf
Blue polyester faille scarf; 13 inches x 58 inches; color gradually fades from dark blue to light blue. Black stamped logo in corner "Geoffey Beene".

White, light blue, and light pink cotton poplin sheath dress; one-piece; print of abstract blue bamboo leaves with pink butterflies and dragonflies; high scoop neckline, edge-stitched and faced; side darts at bust; lapped metal zipper with hook and eye closure at center back; short set-in sleeves with double layer of gathered ruffles at bottom; mini length skirt with three inch hem; lined with muslin.

Stole
Royal blue silk shantung stole with flocked black linear daisy pattern; Pelerine type; shaped triangle with black silk taffeta linging used as binding; double snap closure. Possibly not designed by Valentina due to different construction techniques. Worn by Valentina. -
Evening gown
A. Blue silk evening gown with black silk chiffon overlay; deep rounded yoke piece; ivory chiffon banded in orange; 3/4 length sleeves with orange bands; full skirt with train. B. Blue silk tie belt with black chiffon overlay.

Evening gown
Off-white silk chiffon over silk evening gown with blue rose print; V-neckline in front, square neckline in back; square set-in sleeves. Worn with evening coat (Object ID #1983.239).
Worn by Lynn Fontanne to receive a special Tony Award for Lifetime Achievement in 1970, although the gown was created much earlier. This gown was possibly made by Valentina, but has been significantly altered.
