Lars Nilsson evening gown
Red silk charmeuse sheath evening gown; embellished in geometric woven designs in white and dark red and black and white bugle beads, Appliques of red and black velvet, jewel neckline, sleeveless, darts at waist, slight train at center back, center back zipper, ankle length, lined. From the Bill Blass Fall Ready-to-Wear line (for the fashion house Bill Blass Limited), designed by Swedish designer Lars Nilsson. This gown was the finale outfit of the runway show.
This item is from Fall/Winter 2003-2004. -

Black and white pinstriped cotton suit. A. Blazer jacket; notched collar with reversed fabric on lower lapel; 2 button center front closure; straight sleeves; 2 double welt pockets with reverse fabric at hipline. B. Straight skirt; high-rise waistline; knee length. C. Vest; reverse fabric from rest of suit; 3 button center front closure. -

Black crepe cocktail dress; deep V-neckline; set-in sleeves with large black mink cuffs; tucks at center front waist; gathered skirt into waistline; mid-calf length; attached self-fabric belt; gathered cummerbund; center front loop and button closures.

Jacket; boxy; mandarin collar; 3 large navy blue buttons down front; two single welt pockets set on angle; long straight set-in sleeves; bands with one button on bottom of sleeves; back gathers into shoulder yoke; unlined. B. Skirt; straight silhouette; raised waistline; side seam zipper closure; knee length. With the slacks (Object ID #1999.276.c) these pieces form a three piece ensemble, though not all three pieces would be worn simultaneously. -
