  • Red silk charmeuse sheath evening gown; embellished in geometric woven designs in white and dark red and black and white bugle beads, Appliques of red and black velvet, jewel neckline, sleeveless, darts at waist, slight train at center back, center back zipper, ankle length, lined. From the Bill Blass Fall Ready-to-Wear line (for the fashion house Bill Blass Limited), designed by Swedish designer Lars Nilsson. This gown was the finale outfit of the runway show.

    This item is from Fall/Winter 2003-2004.
  • One shoulder purple velvet and taffeta gown; shoulder strap on left, built-in corset of black mesh, taffeta over-drape covering the bust and creating a large skirt to the right side, taffeta drape lined in clear polyester mesh to stiffen, left side zipper, bow on shoulder and on right side of skirt at the hip, ankle length. Line across the skirt where it probably draped across a hanger.
  • Pale gray silk satin and wool jersey hostess gown; roll collar; bodice and long sleeves of heathered wool jersey; rolled back satin cuffs; floor length silk satin skirt gathered at natural waist; center back zipper closure; belt loops at side seams, but belt is missing.

    Worn by Audrey Ross. She was part of the Ross family who owned J. H. Collectibles.

  • Peacock blue plush knit pile evening ensemble. A. Gown; V-neckline; long bishop sleeves; empire waistline; center front zipper closure; light blue silk crepe bodice, gathers into shoulder yoke; Peacock blue knit pile A-line skirt; floor length.

    Worn with jacket (Object ID #2010.11.01.b) to form two piece ensemble.

    Note from Sister Aloyse Hessburg: "Blue knit pile fabric by Borg Textile Group, a Wisconsin industry. They challenged the senior class in 1970 to create garments 'for a winter evening' using their fabric. Christee selected this fabric (at that time the most flexible of their line) and used the silk fabric bodice and lining of silk crepe. The fur closure hooks were the only available on short notice. (Industry would have had time to get correct size and color.) In a way - industry and Mount Mary College were promoting the possibility of using Borg Textiles to the Wisconsin public."

  • Black floral silk matelasse ensemble. Fabric is black ground with pink roses and green stems in a warp print. A. Evening gown; strapless; interior bodice built over a strapless, longline bra; asymmetrical front; straight skirt; ankle length; multiple pleats at kick vent. B. Wrap; rectangular; lined with wool crepe.

Gold lamé evening gown; rose motifs outlined in pearls, bugle beads and diamontes; sleeveless; slight scoop front neckline, dipping to lower scoop in back; long panel attached at back shoulders. B.
