Jacket; roll collar; 4 domed fabric button opening at center front; 7/8 length set-in sleeves; polished silk black bow ribbon tie at neck; contour darts to hem at front and back; hip length; lined in bright fuschia china silk. B. A-line skirt; no waistband; front has 3 seams, back has 2 seams; zipper set into seam on back left side; lined in black china silk. "F" embroidered in white at inside front waist; knee length.

  • Pale gold silk shantung evening coat; square set 3/4 length sleeves; Hong Kong seam finishes; floor length. Worn with evening gown (Object ID #1983.254).

    Worn by Lynn Fontanne to receive a special Tony Award for Lifetime Achievement in 1970, although the gown was created much earlier. This gown was possibly made by Valentina, but has been significantly altered. Purchased at the auction of Lynn Fontanne's estate using funds from Mount Mary alumnae.

C. Narrow green silk belt; backed in leather; leather is brittle and has broken into three pieces; buckle with matching keepers. Exclusively for Bullocks Wilshire. Worn with coat (Object ID #2004.03.48.A) to form three piece ensemble.
