    Worn by Peg Bradley. This dress is from Yves Saint Laurent's Pop Collection of 1965-66 and is featured in the Metropolitan Museum of Art's catalog of the exhibition of his work. It is identified as his "Poliakoff" dress, inspired by the paintings of Serge Poliakoff.

White floral silk screened day dress; pattern is squares with wide range of colored stemmed flowers; rounded neckline in front; sleeveless; twenty and one-half inch long hand-overcast center back concealed zipper; straight silhouette; double inverted pleats on either side from waistline; plain white silk panel down center front and back. C. Narrow green silk belt; backed in leather; leather is brittle and has broken into three pieces; buckle with matching keepers. Exclusively for Bullocks Wilshire. Worn with coat (Object ID #2004.03.48.A) to form three piece ensemble.

Worn with coat (Object ID #1997.422.b) to form two piece ensemble. This item was created by Gustave Tassell for Norman Norell fashion house.

Green, bronze, and black plaid silk satin evening gown; tight-fitting bodice of green and black plaid; off-the-shoulder sleeves attached to bodice with fabric strips, stitched at upper arm, then released into fullness and stitched again at sleeve hems; voluminous skirt; pleated 1.5 inches from waistline, released into deep pleat effect; back zipper closure. Label: "Bruyere Paris Place Vendome". B. Black patent leather belt; four inches wide. Performance gown worn by Hildegarde.

Worn by donor, Mrs. Frances Howard Robb, at the wedding of her son Charles Spittal Robb to Lynda Bird Johnson, the daughter of President Lyndon B. Johnson and Lady Bird Johnson, at the White House, December 9, 1967. Designed by Sister Aloyse Hessburg.

  • Child's navy blue and green plaid acrylic blend jumper; dropped front yoke worked on bias; slightly gathered body; seven brass buttons form opening down left side front; self-fabric ties form bow at center back.
  • Floral print chiffon cocktail dress; floral print is green, black, and dark gray on light gray ground. Layer of black tulle over chiffon, tulle decorated with large black sequins, black beads, white pearls, and clear rhinestones in an asymmetrical cluster at right hip. Scoop neckline in front; deep V-neckline in back, straight silhouette, sleeveless, many layers of black organza rectangular ‘petals’ on each shoulder, line of beading extends from right princess line to the hem in both front and back and around the hip, above knee length, side zipper and buttons closure.

Forest green suede dress; V-neckline, sleeveless, columnar silhouette, gathered at the natural waist, belt loops at the side seams, decorated with appliqués that appear to be feathers and small real feathers, asymmetrical decorations, center front slit is decorated with feathers and appliqués, ankle length, no hem, uneven. B. Forest green suede tie belt.
  • Blue green heathered mohair stockinette stitch scarf; 51 inches long by 9.5 inches wide; attaches with brown suede cord.
