    These pants are worn with a sweater (Object ID #1988.143.a). The third piece of this ensemble is a skirt (Object ID #1988.143.b) that can also be worn with the sweater; the three pieces are not intended to be worn simultaneously.

    According to Sister Aloyse Hessburg, this gown is a copy of the bronze gown by Chauvel (2012.01.51.AB). This gown is attributed to "Cafe de Paris in London by Ilene Adair."

Werner - Silversmiths and Electro Platers listing items purchased by Sister Aloyse Hessburg for the mother-of-the-groom dress she designed and created for Mrs. Frances Howard Robb, for the wedding of her son Charles Robb to Lynda Bird Johnson, daughter of President Lyndon B. Johnson, at the White House on December 9, 1967.

    This invoice refers to the 4 buttons for the dress that Sister Rosemarita Huebner created. The invoice is dated 11/24 (1967) and according to Sister Aloyse's notes, the buttons were ready by 11/28.
