  • A.   • Blue mohair wool coat; fitted; mandarin collar; princess seams; double-breasted; 8 blue buttons with metal rims; mock flap pockets; half-belt at back with 2 buttons; long straight sleeves with turned-back cuffs; calf length.
  • Dark red felted wool coat; long sleeves with raglan seams; .5 inch wide flap coming out of seam (toward the neck) from mid-seam to back neck; collar is lower half of a notched lapel, folding into the center front opening; a seam comes down from either armpit, leading into pockets at waist; center back seam; no closures; label: "Geoffrey Beene".
  • Small white silk twill scarf; print of large angel fish in brown and turquoise; black horizontal lines in background; "Courrèges" and "Paris" printed in brown; 18.5 inches by 19 inches.
  • Light yellow plain weave cotton blouse; convertible collar; seven small buttons down center front; no darts; high hip length; set-in sleeves gathered into cuffs with plackets and one button each; left sleeve has patch pocket with flap and two buttons, pocket embroidered with "Courreges".

    Likely designed by Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, who designed the Courrèges ready-to-wear lines in the 1990s.

  • Black rayon and sequin cocktail dress; dutch collar; 5 seams extending from center front neck outwards to waist before turning into pleats; additional small pleat on either side near side seam; black sequins mimic the shape of a bolero jacket, rounded at the front and extending down the long sleeves, with the hem being the faux "hem"; 1.5 inch wide cuffs made of self-fabric; 22.5 inch long center back zipper closure; collar connects to itself in back with hook and eye; above the knee length. Tag: "Geoffrey Beene, New York".

    From Oscar de la Renta's Fall/Winter 1991/1992 Collection. According to an email from the donor: "The dress I donated was an original one [Oscar de la Renta] made for his Fashion Show, a sample piece which he later gave me after I was able to wear it to a black tie event in New York. My husband worked with him on a fragrance."
  • Light pink silk organza evening gown; fit and flare; pointed waistline; very deep Bertha collar; lantern sleeves with flat bows at shoulders; gathered skirt; underlining; taffeta lining with hemline flounce, nylon braid to stiffen hemline; internal bodysuit that closes between legs; full evening length.
  • Black jersey evening gown; high neckline in front, dips to waist in back; halter top with spaghetti straps attached to center back; blouson bodice to hip; center back zipper closure; panel of fabric hangs down back; bodice is lined; ankle length.
